Addressing the CKM unitarity problem with a vector-like up quark

A bstract We point out that hints of deviations from unitarity in the first row CKM matrix may be explained by presence a single vector-like top. study how stringent experimental constraints arising CP Violation kaon sector and meson mixing such as $$ {D}^0\hbox{-} {\overline{D}}^0,{K}^0\hbox{-} {\overline{K}}^0 D 0 ? ¯ , K {B}_{d,s}^0\hbox{-} {\overline{B}}_{d,s}^0 B d s can satisfied proposed framework. In order for to required size while keeping theory perturbative, new top quark should have mass m T ? 7 TeV which could probed upcoming experiments at energy frontier.
